Concerns on Online Home Schooling
I just don’t know how to talk to people. When someone asks me a questions I try to give them a proper response rather than a 1 word reply. But usually the conversations drops there. When I ask questions it’s seems more like an interview rather than a casual conversation. Like no one even says hello or hi when im offline. I’m like some guy they know. Also I never have a lot to say. Sometimes when I really try to continue a conversation it seems like im forcing it and in turn it makes me sound either obnoxious or just plain rude. Though it’s not like I’m a loner, i’m actually not that quite and I’m one of the above average kids in school. Though when I go home people who I talk to all the time never message me to have a normal chat. On fb no one ever adds me rather it’s me adding them. Some of these people are really close to me. When they do talk to me the conversation ends really quickly. I don’t get out much because my main group of friends aren’t really big fans of the outdoors. I guess it is kind of my fault because I shut myself from them when out of school and I never really try to create conversations with them, but the problem is that I don’t know how to. I’ve checked online on how to talk to people and just casually talk but those conversations are more suited either when you meet new people or talk to someone after a long time. But I see these people every day and asking them those generic questions just seems weird. Or maybe i’m wrong. Also in terms of confidence i’m not really scared to try anything or embarrass myself, rather it’s confusion which stops me from being confident
If you can understand that jumbled up paragraph of confusion, please help me out. This just kills me, I’m not depressed but just want more. Also I don’t want to force people to talk to me.
